As one of the highest-paid players in the world, it is not surprising that Lionel Messi owns a huge fortune after his time at Barca.
Messi owns a villa worth 5.5 million pounds in the Castelldefels suburb of Barcelona. Teammate Ivan Rakitic once revealed that the Argentine superstar bought his neighbor’s house to have peace while living here.
This villa is located in a no-fly zone in Spain. Luis Suarez, Messi’s former teammate, and Philippe Coutinho also lived nearby.
The former Barca striker also rented a plane worth 12 million pounds long-term for trips with his wife and children. The plane was designed specifically for Messi, with stairs printed with his and his family members’ names, a bathroom, seating for 16 people and many amenities.
The Argentine superstar also owns a supercar collection worth about 3 million pounds. His most expensive car is the Pagani Zonda which costs 1.5 million pounds. In addition, Messi also owns Maserati GranTurismo S, GranTurismo MC Stradale and Ferrari F430 Spider.
